Hi all.
Are the painted sections of the door mirrors removable, without having to remove the mirrors from the doors? I'd like to repaint them as the clear coat is going.

Yes, you should be able to 'pop' them off using a credit card, or something similar.

.. I used my thumb nail to unclip them (when I painted my unpainted black ones... white)
sort of squeeze them until there is an opening and flick with yr thumbnail

Thanks Imoengnr and Smitty. Am I likely to break any clips doing so? (Seems like everything I touch on this car I break "clip wise")

No, the mirror covers are a more durable design.
