I want to remove the grill inserts in my VX and replace with mesh, I understand i need to cut these out, sand back the edges and paint. is it as simple as this? Im not to experienced with painting so any tips?
also im not sure if my Vx is the original colour, the front seems more bermuda blue then the back, but seems to be a lot of purple through it aswell, so how do i go about matching the paint?

If you mean the front grill inserts in the bumper then yes you would have to cut them out, and also trim them up because it will leave 'v's in the plastic from where the old plastic spokes were. As for re painting the bar, just get the colour close and blend the middle of the bar, then clear the whole bar.
