Painting the dash but not all of it

    Gotta get globes and the clip for the console on friday from holden so i will be putting it back together on sat after work so i will take some pics before i put it back together to show you how they come apart

    May I aks you about the paint of Dash.
    I can use car paint color to paint it Or special paint ti do it??

    All i used was VHT (very high temp) paint in a can from repco and painted them the colour match is not perfect but its close enough for me

    Hey bogan, How did you dismantle the dash.....where do i start...u got any isntructions that might help me?

    What about the back piece on the centre console with the air vents, how does it come out ?

    It just unclips there are a series of clips along the top and bottom and then the back white bit comes off and then you remove the black fascia bit and ready to paint

    I was thinking of just painting the standard 2-piece of the dash rather then most of the parts that you have done, but i think that you may have changed my mind!

    Wow talk bout digging up an old thread.. Forgot i had posted this..

    Yeah i did this way to be a bit different and so as not to have too much red or whatever colour you choose over the dash..

    how did you get the shifter surround off? have tried with no luck
