Hi all, New poster. Does anyone know of a good Panel Beater in the ACT ? We took a mates commy to the one used by the local holden dealer, did a crap job, left damage inside and returned the car unsafe put together wrong. They took pics when we dropped it off, but dont want to know about the damage they did. Is the VX a dog of a car ? mine has been nothing but trouble since I got it. My mate drives a falcon, an older one but the ABS is so much better, is something wrong with mine ? HP
Mate you may of got a bad one have had any probs with my vx at all. Stay away from Burgins Body works in Belco a mate had his car fixed there and its been back 3 times and still no go
Most of the decent ones are impossible to get into. Fyshwick Panel Beaters are good as well as Pulfords opposite Bing Lee and BARS in Mithcell are good as well. Dont go near Barrett Bros - after we hit a kangaroo they didn't even remove the roo snot from the windscreen or fur scuff from the bonnet. The drivers door didn't fit properly (gap at top) and the passengers door still doesn't open properly. In the end I gave up and now just put up with a dodgy job...but every time I open that door I am reminded of their dodgy work!
Hi, It seems there are bad and worse, rather than good and bad. Im sure its not an easy job, but if you dont want to do it properly, why do it at all. From what I have seen, there are no good ones in Belconnen. I have used one in Mitchell, but the owners changed and I was not happy with their work. They left things off, lots of screws on the floor which I assume are out of my car and they didnt fix things like the exhaust which was damaged. ( I told them about it, but they didnt bother checking ) Some owners do know something about cars, pity they dont listen. Holdens Purr
Hi, Found more things wrong with the car, If that is the work from f@ller bros, wont go back there, and as they do work for the local holden dealer, wont buy another car from them either. I reckon both are shonks ! As a tradie I like the chance to put things right if there is a problem, not to tell them to get lost. Pity about some others... holdens purr
