you dont NEED one, but its definately advisable....without the adjustable panhard rod the diff will not be centred and you will have troubles with tyres scrubbing on the back left (amoung other things).
you should also use short travel shocks (especially in the rear) with superlows...its illegal to have uncaptured springs, not to mention very dangerous.

just check all the bushes...make sure they are all sweet, if any are a bit off then they will go pretty soon after you lower your car.

yeah, im in QLD...i can recommend i place not to go to...pedders at slacks creek. ages ago i went in there to get some short travel shocks put in because id changed the springs and after doing the job they handed me a "inspection report" which they had done for "free".
had over $2k worth of repairs listed on it, including a new power steering pump (which i had replaced a matter of days earlier), pretty much every bush (which is fair enough, i knew i had to do them, i just hadnt got around to it as id only just bought the car)...and front struts.
when i questioned them about the power steering pump and why it needed replacing, they said it had a huge leak (it didnt) and it was "looking old and worn out"...to which i almost fell over laughing.
i told the bloke he better watch himself or ill report him to the office of fair trading, because they pump is brand new and ontop of that the prices quotes for parts and labour for the job where rediculous....id NEVER go there man.

i ended up doing all the bushes and front struts at my mechanics (i supplied the parts, cos i can get them cheap) and it cost me under a grand...
you dont need a suspension specialist or anything to install the parts, just go to a mechanic..try logan city automotive, its on monte st..just off moss st.
cliff there is a great bloke, and he wont rip you off.
