    hi everyone,

yesterday had something odd happen to my vt, when i was out driving i pulled over and put my car into park,
made a loud scraping noise ( kinda of sounded like the starter motor grinding against the fly wheel) and does the same in neutral, every time you put it into ''p'' or ''n'' it cuts the power to my headunit as well only for a second.

if i start the car i put it into neutral and quickly put it into drive and its fine, i did notice as well the ignition doesnt seem to have to be turned all the way for it to start.

now checked the fuild wasnt burnt was still a rich red, full as well. and besides the ''p'' and ''n'' problem it drives fine, changes thru all the gears and revese works fine.

thats my first problem, 2nd problem
when i turn my heaters on nothing goes (no blowing) and wipers dont work (squirters nothing).

now i dont know if these problems are all related or they are sperate, but it all happend at the same time.
hope it makes sense, and i hope someone can help me, did read a couple of forums about the abs module - but not sure if that will be my only problem mabe relays?

    its a 1999 vt commodore v6 engine

    thanks!

Ok, lets eliminate one problem quickly to see if it's related. When you pull the washers, can you hear the motor going? Best if you are outside the car to hear it, it's located behind the drivers wheel arch.

hey there, no noise at all - might check fuses , mabe realy. ps car doesnt have abs.
i think the tranz problem might have something to do with the ignition switch and starter motor

Ok, yep first check your fuses.

Your transmission problem could be a few things, none of which I can help with lol - sorry. Check your fuses and relays first, then let us know what comes up.
