hi all.
i have a VT SII and i was wondering how i go about having a passenger side airbag fitted to my car as it doesnt currently have one and i would like the added safety?

If anyone knows how much it would be or if it can or cannot be done it would be greatly appreciated.

it would be legal, if done correctly. however, if what i remember is correct then last time i checked to get airbags reset cost around the $2-4g mark depending on how many were released. so im guessing getting one installed from scratch is not going to be a pretty bill.

Yep, would need to be engineered etc, Probably cheaper to buy a new VT with a Pass Airbag pre-fitted ;)

yeah, i thought about that but its gonna be a tad expensive when i contacted a automotive safety engineer..... its gonna cost 5,000 for it to be fitted as he has to test the sensor and make the airbag go off. and then replace the airbag, and then he has to make sure its in the right spot. i was a bit thrown off by that one lol. not the best 5,000 to spend on my VT lol.
