I was pressure washing the inlet manifold of a 3.8l eco an I blew out the pcv valve and there's also a black plastic thing with 2 holes in it ? I'm unsure of ...what I can make out it goes under the pcv in a slotted position or its just something I picked up that has nothing to do with it

May need to get hold of the service manual and see which way it goes in,

I have done a couple of LIM gasket kits, [Not recent on a L36) but for the life of me I can remember,
I do know they were in there and removed them, cleaned/washed them, and placed them back in straight away so I would not forget.

After a bit of a CSI I discovered it fits in a slotted position towards the valley (it only goes in one way) the thread on the I guess you can call it a air pressure reducer regulator? or a thingy bob plastic thing got me...anyway the pcv has a slight seal problem <replace. - Thanks for responding Krusing - I only have an used to red motors but I'm growing a love for the 3.8L Eco.., was this the last solid motor in production?

They used the ECOTEC Motor up till VY so they had a long run in a way VS - VY.

VZ went to Alloytec Motor.
