Been a car bloke I have no problem draining a catch can when servicing my car but I guess many people don't want the extra tasks when looking after their vehicles.

I can understand the conundrum of running ethanol and the lack of lubrication on certain parts. I know on some race engines where lubrication of the valve guide is problematic, especially on the exhaust valve the removal of the valve guide stem seal has been done although probably not a good idea on a daily driver.
Yes it’s interesting the overall equilibrium of lubrication and solvent, I run a pressurised reservoir, 11 litres all up which lasts about twice as long between dumps, still a PITA sliding under car getting old.
Looking for an easy drain cock that works o_O and a remote filter mount.

Pete wouldn't' OP's primary issue be from RHS main foul air PCB connection post TB?
No I had clean oil (only had about 10000k from new) in the air intake (plumun spelling) which occurs at WOT the dirty side (RHS) is at max so the pressure (oil) has to go to clean side (LHS) which goes to the air intake. Have a look in the middle right you will see the PCV tube which runs from the back LHS.

Now with the Clean-Side Oil Separator you block off rear PCV port and install separator in the oil filler and run tube into air intake.
The oil goes into the separator and drops back down in to motor.
So the vapour should be clean. I have to change the pod so will see how clean the TB is.

Hope that makes sense.

You can see dirty side RHS PCV tube running to catch can and then to manifold.
You can see the stock clean side LHS PCV tube back of motor to intake before I put the Clean-Side Oil Separator on.
