Hey guys, i have a full pedders sports ryder suspension set up on my VP, now as far as i can hear, when ever i hit a bump, or a speed hump, or anything else that makes the shockers compress, my front left shocker makes a loud squeaking noise. The kinda sound trampoline springs make when you jump on a trampoline.

The whole set up was done at once and is about 10 months old. Is this normal? The sound has only come about in the last 3 weeks.

not normal - usually happens when there is a leak and air is in the shock tube, take it back

Crap as. How long can they last like that? I'll have to make some time next week to get the car back to them. Lucky pedders have a lifetime warranty!!

lol mate going to pedders was your mistake.
Well when a shocky dies totaly it will envetually either lockup and bend or just go up and down and not damp at all.

PS on my old dato the shockies gave up knocking 2 yrs BEFORE i sold it.

Sounds more like a contact noise, like a rubber or metal on metal. Spray some CRC or WD40 on the bottom spring seat and see if it goes away.
