hello blokes and sheilas. using a VS Commodore in this query - just wondering if pedders sportsryder suspension:
a) is firmer and rougher than FE2 suspension
b) handles tight turns better than FE2 suspension

and if Pedders Comfort:
a) gives a more comfortable ride than standard VS Executive or Acclaim (any of the VS Commodores) suspension ie. would the ride be smoother with Pedders Comfort over standard Commodore suspension

if it's to hard too help me out, then that's ok. sorry for the strange question, but i'm interested to know
:)

Isnt the sportsryder stuff the shock absorbers? If they are, they will make your car handle heaps better if you have shagged ones in it now, any new shocker will, if its the springs, im not sure, for handling myself and friends recommend eibach or lovells, kings are good for looks though

Pedders Shocks are Monroes, their springs are rolled by kings...

Personally, on a budget for the best ride/performance, i'd be looking at KYB Shocks with either Dobinson or Eibach Springs...

V8 6spd wif MOMO leavaa.
i got sports ryder springs in mine, fairly stiff but i put the 17's on at the same time to so that probably contributed to the ride. handles well but.

thanx for the help people. much appreciated.
for absolute best comfort, smoothness, and beautiful ride quality, would the standard VS Commodore suspension be better than Pedders' comfort suspension?

Probably, if all you're after is a cushy ride and don't care about looks or handling then don't waste ya money on anything other than monroes... I personally would never use them, but then a plushy ride isn't that high on my priority list either... :p
