Yeah, and was a Turbo, and it was still a piece of **** that wouldn't run. Pretty sure it's a cube now. Brings a warm fuzzy feeling to my heart to know it will never get to grace the roads of Australia ever again.
It did have a mad leb spec dose though....

Stock for stock the VZ has more power than the VL = Fact

Dollar for dollar on mods it would be cheaper to get to a set power figure in the VZ because it's got less ground to make up.

Therefore VZ is better than VL either stock or cheaper to get to a set performance level.

Unplugging an o2 isn't a modification. It's what ignorant people do. An EFI system is miles ahead of the rejetting of a carb.

No one has tried it because the same thing will happen as when the O2 sensor fails. The car runs rich.

I'm not really sure it's that interesting, well not to me anyway. Either way regardless of who engineered them, the Buick V6 is not even slightly similar to an Alloytec aside it's use of 6 pistons and a V configuration.

The weights I've used are averaged between the two from base model to fully optioned. You're telling the story, is it a ‘slug’? What does slug mean?

This is true. My definition of whip is the same as the actual definition of whip, to inflict a large amount of pain and injury (figurative in this case, bruising an ego with welts) on a whippee by a whipping motion (the neck snapping whip of acceleration). Two car lengths over 400 metres is hardly that, that's a bit more than a nosing IMO. Blips on the horizon after the 120kmh smoke clears from my 2nd to 3rd gear change is what I call a whipping.

253's are barely useful as a boat anchor. I had one once, not for very long, it was euthanised and a 308 replaced it. Paper or it didn't happen dude.

Then tell us what's been done. Your words so far say nothing, so most of us are defaulting to stock, what did you expect?

I bet this dude doesn't even own a car. Probably sitting in his computer den laughing with his pimply backwards hat wearing mates laughing, and saying likes like "totes funny bro" and "that's hectic cuz" "lolz at da peeps for replying". Etc etc etc.

Just wasted seven minutes of my break reading this. And it hurt.

wow this thread is still going lol

seeing as ur taking out o2 sensors may aswell just unbolt the zorst at the cats, or if ya real hardcore take the cats off too and run straight headers, there will be so many gainz no vz will keep up!

Doesn't work like that. You want me to even think about listening to you, stop being lazy and link it yourself. Not gunna waste valuable seconds trying to find a thread for some poorly thought through argument about a pissing contest for power.

No guys, he's right....in 20 years of product development they were actually aiming at making performance **** in the VZ.

i know the problem, OP and his brother have flogged the alloytec to death and it's stuffed, the fully sick vl with it's 2.5" zorst, no o2 running in lhm and the dizzy advanced is just a freak of nature that'll smoke anything on the road......
