Performance Ideas Please

I have just bought a VF CALAIS and i want some ideas for some good mods i can do. I have around $6,000 - $8,000 to spend. Cheers guy's.

Kind of depends what you want to do with it.

If you are tracking it, I think generally work bottom up: tyres, brakes, suspension then engine.
Drags, drifting, cruising will all be different.

Or could get a banging doof doof system for $8k

Is it a V6, V8?

You haven't said if it's a V6 or V8.

If it's a V8 Cam, exhaust, tune.

If it's a V6, leave it alone and enjoy it.

I just want a nice CALAIS thats not stock (its a v6) that has some nice mods. I was thinking maybe a good cold air intake? Would a nrw EXHAUST make much of a difference?

Just lower it on proper new springs, aftermarket cold air intake? Maybe update the EXHAUST system if theres 1 that will make much of a difference??

About the only thing that will make it different would cost more than you want to spend....

That is, a paint job...Camelion.....Exhausts, lowering, cold air intakes have all been done on them...I have never seen one painted in camelion, so it'd definately make it stand out
