Performance Shift Module VS stage 2 shift kit

I got the VR SS 5L basically stock and a VR 5L ute with cam, mild stall and a shift kit and the difference is amazing!

I realise the ute is lighter but it completely eats my stock SS. Acceleration heaps better with much much firmer shifts! Heaps more fun!

A ute is heavier.

True? I thought ute was light for some reason! Shows how much research i had done!

Yeah it got me the first time I saw it as well. I think the general dynamics of the ute make it feel lighter.

Am i reading that wrong or is the UTE curb mass 8kg lighter than the sedan?

Sedan 1362

The GVM of the ute is higher at 2051 but that is at its capacity. I still may be looking at it wrong

You're looking at it fine, but we're talking about the v8 ute here, not the v6 ute

so 1443 kg..
