I paid $1.54 wednesday, saturday cheaper $1.45. Thing with rising fuels is watch the days its cheaper they have changed.

Yeah pretty much this. Im used to paying around 1.60 anyway with 98, so its not such a big deal for me. But the cheap day is no longer Tuesday/Wednesday. At the moment it seems to be the weekend. So...in reality prices havent changed THAT MUCH, just the cycle has shifted.

Think its around 70% is tax and duties. However, drop those taxes and the petrol companies will just raise prices because we've been paying that anyway and can get a bigger profit.

I have actually done some calculations on the increase
As a tradie I use LPG in my workute and if LPG rises by 33% it will mean an increase of about $1500/yr to my fuel bill

My Wifes 5.7l V8 will cost approx $700/yr more to fill

So those increases will hurt, a little, having LPG on my work ute saves me around $4000/yr so im not really complaining yet.

lol, because i drive a V8 i don't care?
Hardly, as if i want to pay that much but the reality is, i will whether i like it or not because i need it to get to work, and to get the kids to school ect.
Some people on here are waaay too over sensitive when it comes to the truth.
