...........petrol smell in cabin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

been noticing lately that ive been getting a strong petrol/ exhaust fumes smell in my cabin ive checked that my petrol caps on tight as it is caused by this sometimes not the problem what else could it be exhaust leak or running rich?
any help as to what it could be cheers

be safe and check everytin could be exhaust fuel lines even tank u neva know.

I know this may seem odd but..

Lubricate your filler cap and the seat @ your fuel entry point.. Can be with spit lightly smeared around or a fuel safe lubricant as I have found that I to was getting fuel smells in the car but after this I've never smelt it again.. More than likely to be the above :p

Could be an injector o ring leak. Take the engine cover off and have a look around there afeter you notice the petrol smell

usually happens on hot days when u have the air con on. all u gotta do is loosen the pressure out of the fuel cap.
