I would be looking for a "purple" coloured stain aroun the inlet manifold and fuel rail where the injectors go in and also at the end of the rail - more so passenger side where the delivery hose goes from rubber to rail as the V6's are common (once a few Km's on clock) to leak around here. If it is leaking a new rail would be required as you can't just replace the hose due to the way it's fitted for extremly high fuel pressures. Have replaced many for the same reason.

    Hi hsvgts,

ive just experienced exactly that since nudging the fuel lines at firewall the return line coupling started to leak every now and then. My question is to anyone or yourself is exactly which bit do you grip to remove the coupling. Ive done the fuel filter heaps of times with a proper removal tool but is there a different tool for this fuel rail assembly. For anyones interest the car has just hit 214000 km and sounds about time when this bit start to fail.
    cheers

This thread is nearly ten years old. The last reply was in 2007. I don't think resurrecting something this old, anyone is going to reply from 2007.

This also looks to be your first post on the forum- maybe go back and read the stickied rules.
