Stock wheels will look good with the right height, like your white wagon. That one looked shmick without being stupid low

Completely agree! but stock wheels sit to far within the guards for the loom im trying to achieve without touching spacers. That word makes me cringe ahah

Lets continue the family wagon!

Lets keys.I personally love the idea about the flip key but cant stand when they don't retract correctly. $14 off ebay gets you a new shell as mine was snapped and just needed to be replaced then repaired. Simply just swapping the case so keeping the key its self and the electronics. Saves you getting the new key recut or programming.

Now low. We all know these things need some low. Now i was trying to get away on the cheap side as my Sv6 Wagon was perfect with SSL but stupid me picked the wrong springs and got SSSL. SSSL is way to low for the stock shocks so i left full Bump stops in just cut the rear shock surround so they can compress.

Now it took me 2 and a half hours from tools up to down and away. You could say i have done this 30 or more times ahah

I hated the look at the start thinking it looks to low but i have come around to like it with some more spaced wheels. Now talking shocks as mentioned before SSSL is to low for the standard shocks. I started to look for lowered shocks and ended up buying brand new K sport coilovers because of how happy i was with them in my Sv6 ute. Ill most likely go a little higher so if i need to tow or load the car up the ass wont be on the ground.

Also thrown my chrome wheel net covers on. IMO i think they set black wheels off more then just black, black and more black

Since the Sv6 ute i haven't really kept up with sound systems just been playing a 12" Alpine Type R from one car to the next.
Being a wagon and not a ute not is my chance to throw something decent in that i have been dreaming for a while. Had a decent think how far i wanted to go and the rest is history.
Dropped into a local Audio know instead of online for a change. Was pretty impressed with the range and after chatting with quiet a nice bloke.
I had my heart set on Rockford gear but had been put off by my last set that they wouldn't fix under warranty after the second time they had been sent back.
I settled on Phoenix Gold. I hate miss matching and swapping so went with their premium front splits and some rear speakers and a 4 channel amp.

As normal i like to keep things simple and clean. Now extra lengths have been kept because my subwoofer box will eventually have the amps mounted to the back side ( Behind the back seats ) and hidden so i have allowed or amps to be moved.
My Sv6 Wagon i had everything under in the spare wheel well but due to the massive amount of heat ect i have opted above this time but will keep the fuse under in the spare wheel cutout.

You have to love the odd things you find in second hand cars. The center speaker was thrown in the bin as any speaker that size would be completely uselessto replace. Now keep in mind i may not keep this car for years so i have tried to avoid cutting or modifying anything that will be seen if its removed and sold. Nothing worse then dodge connections and a hack job when buying cars with systems removed. i have tried joining to the old wiring to its a simple plug in for the stock speakers.

Took her for a drive that night to test out the speakers. Pretty impressed so far without tuning them. This weekend ill be getting the subwoofer box delivered that's custom made for two Soundstream SPL series subwoofers. It SHOULD be loud ahah.

I love the action shots... You're like "I've got some spare time while I use this blowtorch, might as well take a pic"

Would like to thank you all for the supportive comment! Honestly this is the kinda stuff that makes me motivated put some time in to documenting the progress on these cars to make it a little different to every other Thread.
Your blowtorch comment Herons ahahaha. Made for a good loud so got some more actions shots for you
