Hi all, picked up my new wheels today, an 06 Ford Territory Ghia Turbo.. Some of you might remember my previous ride, a VE SS that was fairly warmed over to say the least ;)

I ended up selling it due to needing the extra row of seats, larger boot space and height clearance. Anyway it's gone and I must move forward.

It's dead stock atm apart from the debunged exhaust. One of many mods to come.

Here is the future mods list:
    -GT3582R (or bigger?)
    -Plazmaman front mount
    -60lb injectors
    -Plazmaman inlet plenum
    -3.5" dump pipe
    -3.5" single cat back exhaust
    -Transmission upgrades

Also tossing up on some SPOOL H beam con rods, not real sure on what pistons? As is with the tranny upgrades?

I'm a full blown virgin when it comes to Ford stuff so all you blue ovalers please feel free to chime in, all my information comes from hours of reading and a mate that owns a BF xr6t.

My end goal is a reliable 380+awkw.

It already has a 3582 on it champ. You will need something bigger for the power you want or run it on E85 with a gut full of boost and timing.
If you want a reliable 380awkw your talking a built ZF and a built motor 100%, depending on the actual build date yours might have the BA banana rods, then start looking for a spare transfer case.

I see, do you have a turbo size you could recommend? E85 is out of question, closest station that serves it up is over 200k's away :(

Don't mind building the engine n box to suit, it's a win win.. Except for my wallet and missus lol

Is there a aftermarket option for the transfer case? Haven't found to much info on this..

What build date should I be looking for?

    Cheers

Are you looking to keep it factory looking or not? Not many options that will work with the factory manifold (at a minimum you would switch to the FG unit).
As far as I know not many options for the transfer case.
After October 06 they changed to the F6 items, much stronger.

What ever works really, I was told a 6Boost high rise manifold was overkill for what I'm chasing, I showed my mate this one http://bit.ly/1f6hbWv

Can I just buy an F6 one, will it fit?

F6 has the same turbo as yours, there are only two factory turbos. FG XR6T/G6ET run a smaller GT3576R, all BA/BF/Terry's and FG F6 run the GT3582R. You could prob make the power you want on a GTX3582.

Billet 11 fin wheels rather then the 6 fin cast means for the same size turbo it flows more which equals more power.

Sweet. Just done a bit of a search on em and there's a company that supply the GTX innards, I assume it'll all fit into my turbo's housing?

Rear housing yes, front housing will need to be modded.

What's the turn around on getting the housing done? Would I be better off buying a complete turbo already done? (Time wise)

It's our only car atm and with 3 kids that sh!t don't go down well lol

Find a blown turbo cheap to use for the compressor and exhaust housings.

Had a bit of a search today on the usual sites and there's not much in the way of blown/cheap turbos. Might do some searching at some wreckers or post a classifieds ad in the other forums.
