Ferrari 348 ts - (Played with this thing all the way to the circuit, swapping claims of top speed and round about negotiation. Imagine my suprise when 1 hour later I see it on display)

Those Bimmers are all so special with so much history behind them.

Nice pics.
I went there Friday and dusted off the old e24 for a road trip. Lots of cool machinery there some lapping in the high 1.20sec bracket which is mighty fast for machinery from the 1960's & 70's.
The group a/c races were a highlight. Took you back to the good old days where racing was interesting.

If you like your old Bm's you were in heaven. That procar made 480bhp with only 3.5ltr from its m88 engine in 1980 from basically a road car engine. The old m3's were producing 360bhp also from only 2.5ltr. Unbelievable.

The Williams was not that loud, although it was getting quite the flogging....

It did however have the distinct disadvantage of being in the event following a full grid of 28 Formula 5000 entrants. They were LOUD!
