Cheers, will check some of those suggestions; need a new camera soon as the base on this one has broken where the mounting plate for the tripod is attached. It's filled with car bog! "Holdies Camera Repairs"

i think the same thing happend to my olympus sp560uz the screw in thing on the bottom of the camera has broken and cant attach it to the tripod with out rubber bands or zippie ties.

I broke mine due to inexperience fuz; instead of moving the head of the tripod, Id push the camera which caused fatique

That snake was on a mission; just lucky to get a few quick shots and he was gone. You guys get them in the Victorian Alps; this bloke was up in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney at an altitude of 1,200M.
