I think what's more confusing, as I'm about to purchase some king super lows with kyb short shocks/struts, is some people call superlows "sl", when in fact there "ssl", while "sl" are in fact lows.

We should agree to call (use super lows for an example) either super lows, or there catalogue name, ssl. Sometimes part numbers and trualing through the parts catalogue can be daunting to newbies, where as saying, I have lows, superlows, ultra lows etc would make it easier.

Just a thought.

It's only a reference part number & dependent on the car. KHRL-46HD are "low" in VS, but the same spring is "superlow" in VT-VZ.
