hey guys, just wondering for the wagon owners out there if i could see some pics of wat you have done to them. Im not sure wat to do with mine, need some inspiration or something.... also if you knew any places where i could see other vr-vs wagons... cheers
hey dude i have a vs wagon, i dont know how to post pictures so i guess i'll jsut tell you what i've done.... due to me being an apprentice i have **** all money so all i've been able to afford is 18x8 alloy mags (they look really good, not cheap and shitty like most) and 235/40 nankang tyres, they are not too bad very grippy on take off in dry weather, however in the wet they spin fairly easily, i guess its good for a bit of fun i bought those white tail lights, very sexy stuff however due to the bulb being painted red and the colour of the light being white, it acutally comes out as red with a pinkish tinge colour when braking. some people dont like the lights but i dont mind them some shitty little exhause tip till i can afford me 2.5"cat back system. im gonna have it coming out of a 3-4 inch dumper tip. debadged the whole car, tinted the windows, cleaned up teh interior completely, 2 red neons under the dash, got a new light fitting for the interior so now its a blue neon sorta light, STILL saving up to lower it :b: thats about it, i'll be getting CAI soon, but not sure if it affects insurance rates or not, anyone know the answer to this?
Love to see some pics heatersarecool, an easy site to upload your pictures is: http://www.imageshack.us/ After you upload a pic it gives you all the html/bbcode to post it on a forum. Re: CAI, Don't quote me but I believe (at least here in VIC) you're allowed 1 intake mod... so you could have CAI if you didn't have a Pod filter or something else "non-standard". Doesn't quite sound right to me though. If you're in VIC, check out the vicroads website (more specifically, the VSI/Vehicle Standards Information sheets - they go into the legalities of some car mods).
hey, i have a vn wagon, but the vn - vs is close, only really front different, i have lowered it 30mm, got the clear rear tail lights. they look very nice, not rice. if you do get the clear tail lights, get the silver globes, look heaps better than the red ones, and they actually low red, not pink. im saving for LED globes, can only get them cheap from us, 95 for all 6. because the sockets are all stop/tail sockets. no mags yet, but im getting a kit first. if you want a nice kit, look at doing the vx senator kit, i was going to convert my frontend to vs and do vx kit, but found something else i want. but have a look at the vx senator kits for the wagon, they are like the vx gts, but have that more individual look to them because of the slightly different front airdam.
Mine is fairly stock VS II Berlina V8 wagon, except for the clear tail lights, "Depo" brand clear head lights and matching indicators. If I were younger and had more $'s things would be a tad different.
I dont own a wagon... but I reckon a VS statesman front panels and bumper and dump it on a set of VP GTS 5 spokers and why not a full statesman dash aswell... turn it into a Stateswagon or is it a Wagman ? :yeah: regards sixshooter  edit: I just knocked up a few rough cut'n'shut pic's with photoshop elements :yeah:
Still mucking around with Photoshop elements... It's a steep learning curve :ranting: So now I made up a VS Caprice Wagman :yeah: stay tuned...working on a VS Wagais... :whistling

pretty handy in photoshop shooter. i just got hold of a copy of it so ill start mucking round when uni quietens down a bit.
Nice berlina wagons.....mine is a gold VR Berlina wagon which i'm still saving money to do some mods. Best thing about it is the paint....its an 11 year old car but it still comes up nice and shiny after a good wash!! Won't go too overboard with the mods, probably just rims, lowered, exhaust, darker tint maybe? Bodykits are rad but not for me, i'd rather keep mine simple. Chucked in a cd player when i first got it, still got the standard speakers so i might get some 6x9's for the back. What size speakers can I fit in the front door pods? I'm guessing 6" but i could be wrong! Almost got enough cash for the rims and lowering so i'll post some pics when its done, probably a few weeks or so.
yeah i got a vr wago bright red wayne gardner body kit roh wheels dark tints in fire engine red and looks great still trying to organise some pics will get em up when i can. oh yeah bout to fit group a scoop as well should look sweet
This is my wagon http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=6001 94 VR, 18" rims, lowered, tinted... saving up for an exhaust and a decent body kit for her now... Hope you like it I'm open for suggestions...
hey every one good to see a wagon post. i have a vs wagon series 2. 96. clear taily, clear side indicators, 2 3/4 cat back exhaust. 17 inch VZ SS rims. just put the sterio in sony explode head unit , 2 10inch subs n amp n 4 6 inch splits. the auto packed in so i spent a grand getting a new one and while i was at it put in stage one shift kit and strenghtened the braces. other things i did was to shave of the rear windsceen wiper and arial. and put a misile switch in for the power button. saving some money to get it lowered. ill try figure out how to post pics an get them up here!
sorry i haven't got a better pic anywhere at the moment. I like the look of it though. wagons just look lower naturally because they're long i reckon. Anyhow, nothing special about my VRII Equipe. Just sits on lowered sports ryder suspension and 16" alloys. Has clear VT sidelights and is debadged except for the Lions which have been replaced with HSV items.
Here is my Family Truckster, VY ser1 Gen III Berlina, I am still trying to obtain some more cash from the Minister for War and Finance to do some more mods to it (in desperate need on an exhaust system and tune)
