just took another look at it, the damage details are:
Driver side Front - Light Structural, Engine - Minor Stripping, Passenger Side Front - Light Structural, it is a repairable writeoff

it a duel fuel model too

Looks like the VE stands upto fender benders quite well. Good to see

Thats down as repairable? Shiiit.... I've seen cars will smaller taps to the front end go under statutory write-off.

But then again, the way they determine what's a stat and whats not is a little bizarre.

I just found this Calais too. From Fowles Auctions. It doesn't say if its repairable or not though.

No photos I'm affraid, but the company that does our propellors has an SS-V as a company car, and a few weeks ago the owner crashed it. Here's what apparently happened - He was boasting to someone about the ESP and how it's so good he can go around a freeway on ramp at 120km/h (the 270deg on ramps that is)...and fairly, the other guy said it was bull****, so they went for a drive (Jandakot Aitport in WA isn't far from the freeway). Turns out it was bull**** after all...
