My guess would be to call a trucking company, find out whether the escort drivers are hired by the trucking company or are outsourced, and send a resume to whomever hires the drivers.

All the pilots I know have been in the shipping/trucking/transport industry for a long time, and are well connected. :)

The first pre-requisite for all the ones I know is you need to be at least 150 kg and your gut has to rest comfortably on the steering wheel.

Boring as batshit. Try being a escort driver for the Daily Planet - at least some of the payload will be somewhat better looking.

Pretty much... gotta be in the industry or know someone in it. But it is good money, bout 60-80 bux an hour from memory.

Sure is, I've done it when family has had to move machinery, nothing like going 40km/h with everyone behind you abusing you and getting pissed off. But its quite funny listening to people on the CB bitch about you.
