No, that would be a pin. When it is in capitals like PIN then it is an acronym. So by your logic I should be asking if their payment type is cash, cheque or electronic funds transfer at point of sale.
There you go...You wouldn't say Point of Sale, because when they are actually paying, that is the sale, so to say point of sale you would be stating the obvious..So couldn't you say when asking for payment if they are paying by cash, cheque or card?
Point of sale is the location not the event so you could say point of sale. It's not called EFTTOS, 'electronic funds transfer at time of sale'
