Is it possible to play my music files from my PC though my home theater system with Bluetooth?

Both have BT on them, I can play MP3s off my phone through BT on the surround sound and want to do the same with the PC.

Yes. Set the HT system bluetooth to visible, and then search for it on the PC. Once found, pop in the 4 digit password (usually 0000 or 1234) and let it connect.

Once all done, set the HT system to wireless stereo, then you should be able to play the mp3s on your computer and have the sound come out of the HT system.

Just a quick note though, your mp3 files will be in stereo, so you will not get full 5.1 surround sound. Most likely sound will only come out of the left, the right and the subwoofer.
