1992 v6 -3.8L commodore Berlina
I just bought a 2nd hand Berlina for $350 and want to take the sump off as there is a god almighty leak from the top gasket- WHERE ARE THE BOLTS?? in previous cars, sump bolts were right there- these seem to be hiding- can anyone who owns one please tell this poor old man what to do. ( its been sitting idle for the last few years under a tree - it seems to be a good buy, just a lot of WD40 and TLC.)

Vp series 2
mate the sump gasket on a v6 is a BIG job.
lift car on to stands
lift engine a little with a engine crane
undo bolts fo k frame and lower it down
remove front section of exhaust
remove engine to gearbox stiffener
now you can undo the sump.
Or remove engine from car to do it.

Yeah, K-frame has to be dropped, and the inspection plate has to come off.

All would be good, except the sump has to come down straight for about 6" to clear the pickup.
