i did see that, was thinking maybe there was an easier way but now i want to do it that way and get the toothbrush out to give it a good clean. One of my plenum cover screws heads are threaded (previous owner) and am going to need to take it off with pliers.
Is it really necessary to use a torque tool or could i do it by hand like i do with spark plugs.

one last question. the fuel disconnect tool. i heard i can make with a pen. how do i go about doing that?

mate. i have no idea!!! hahahaha

i use a torque wrench cause i have one. might be an idea to get one. obviously the other owner has reefed on it too far! lol.

but then again.... if your pretty confident on the spanners, give it a crack without one!

i wanna get a plenum spacer and manifold insulator at some stage from MACE. thats when i'll have to really learn about all this!

Seems like the previous owner used an allen key instead of a hex tool.
getting it off with the pliers wont be a problem its the getting it back on that could get me.

ill just torque them all by hand i think it will be fine. Dads done it to his ls1 and it turned out fine.

Ill be making my own fuel line disconnect tool as i can find any lmao.
