Go to a tool shop and buy a breaker bar, probably a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar that looks like the one you lost :)

Take your mate to the tool shop. Let him choose. It was his tool(s) you lost.
^^^ What he said.

There are breaker bars and there are breaker bars. Was it a Super Cheap Auto special or a Snap-On? Both are breaker bars, but only one will break your wallet too!

You're after a special breaker bar. It sounds like you need the one you hit with a hammer, if you used it to crack a crank bolt. I don't think they are called breaker bars.

FFS speak to your mate, not randoms on a forum.

One breaks your wallet, the other has the potential to break you....

This is the correct "mate" thing to do......You lost it, you replace it.
Personally, I'd actually be pretty impressed if one of my mates lost my tools and was willing to replace them ASAP with the exact same items.

FFS speak to your mate, not randoms on a forum.

I agree with dgp
In this particular case asking for help on the forum is pointless, man up and just tell your mate you lost them.
Take him with you when you go buy the replacement tools, and you should shout him a carton for lending them to you in the first place
I can guarantee you he will appreciate it :)
