I have a stock ecotech in a VS. Well except for the porting I did to it and the exrtractors and 2.5"
Does that make it not stock:hmmm: If mace wants to throw a spacer my way I'd be happy to volunteer my car for at test:yeah:

of course that makes it "not stock". what did you port? heads? intake manifold?

ps. its ecotec, no H.

Super charge fitment.
relocation of coil packs.
higher flowing injectors
higher flowing fuel pump
fitting inter cooler and plumbing
having the ECU tuned.
Modify/add another pulley to run super charger.
Getting it certified/engineer certificate.

How is this a "bolt on mod" again?

Every one of those steps (excluding tuning and compliance - but who does that anyway) involves bolting something on.

the best way to find out is to try it yourself.
i think i saw someone on here selling one on the for sale section.
final decision is up to you.

and for those wondering. my car was 100% dead stock. then after fitting the 12mm and 12mm spacers, it felt a bit better (low down, as thats where mine sits, its not a high up revver, nothing fancy, driven like my grandma would), and saved about 10-20% on fuel.
however if i drove it too much like a granny, fuel economy would worsen, go figure =P
however it "felt better" which made me happy. however i do not know if it was just the manifold spacer or the plenum spacer or because of the mix it worked.
i would assume it was both together.

but as already said, final decision is up to you.
if you can afford it easily i say give it a shot.
if not then maybe give it a miss for a bit.

and thats where im going to leave this.

Oh no, not someone asking valid questions about maces product testing!

What has this world come too.

Personally. i find the idea of having, what looks like a piece of mdf wood (i know it isn't but it sure as hell looks it) sitting near my engine, somewhat uncomfortable

Oh well, not my car so not my choice.

And HERONVY stop trying to be a hero.

I'm yet to see mace holding a gun to your head (or anyone else's) and force you to buy and install a spacer - find it uncomfortable? Don't buy one.
