Its been proven that a pod filter makes little to no extra noticeable hp, and in most cases robs power. What people don't realize is that car manufacturers spend hundreds of thousands on R&D to get the standard CAI to make as much power as possible from factory.

Has anyone done this..? Iv got a VT L67 supercharged and was thinking about it, any info would be much appreciated.

You are not going to get much help on this forum Luke. There are a couple of mods you can start with and depending on how much you want to spend to what you can do.

The M90 hates any restriction so the better the air intake the more you will get out, well to a certain degree that is.
The first mod which is good for most L67's under 300rwhp is the second air feed. This is a simple and cheap mod. Basically cut a 90mm hole in the bottom of your air box and run a 90mm pipe from the box down to the bumper bar. This will allow a less restricted flow to the box as well as getting a cooler air charge.
Don't be worried about water, as the top intake to the air box is still open there is no way that water will get sucked up as there is no way of creating that much vacuum.
You will however find the filter does get dirty quicker, so it will need to be maintained more often.

If you are really set on a pod you can buy a cold air intake (CAI) from MACE or from Full Throttle customs. These allow you to run a pod filter but keep it enclosed to meet the RTA rules regarding pod filters. If you don't want to spend that much, be a cheap skate like me and make your own enclosure, $30.00 of materials and a couple of hours work and you have an air box, may not be the prettiest, but it will work.
If you do go a pod filter you will find that you will hear the M90 whine like a bunch of forum wannabes.

Its these sort of posts that piss me off. Not everyone want's V8, or can afford one. I'm all for modifications - but only if they have been done well, with at least a thought behind it.

Nothing against you M8..
Obviously your car is an exception and has ALOT of mods (nice work by the way) but on a stocky motor its still a waste. No its not my money but why don't these dudes use the search for an answer instead of repeating the same questions over and over and over ...that's what gets me.....
