Hey Iv put a pod filter on my vt and remove the stock air box and need Idies on how to make a bracket for the pod and a cold air intake

Open pod filters are illegal. Needs to be boxed.
Have a look at "Apollo" k&n filters!

In W.A i got told thy are fine aslong the pod is on a bracket or somthing so it's not lose,
No not yet would you know any web sites ?

Check out Mace Engineering . They have an enclosed CAI for ecotecs .

Depends on the state as to what regulations you have re pod filters.

Some states say it must be enclosed, some say it must be secure.

However no matter where you live, if a cop see's an exposed pod filter you will be raped regardless.


Also a pod filter exposed in your engine bay will most of the time cause you to loose power as your engine is breathing in all the hot air coming from the engine bay, get an enclosed setup from MACE or stick with the airbox.

Cheers man and if I wanted to do a DIY one how would I do that or is it better to buy a enclose and how would I gain more power and air flow ?

An enclosed CAI is the only way to get proper airflow on a V6, the MACE one is a good example.

You can make your own, just get some sheet aluminum from bunnings etc and fabricate your own airbox for the pod....

But for all that trouble its probably easier to just get the mace one as its proven it works etc
