Story from News.com.au When was it decided that excessive speeding is a hoon offence? Anyway I lol'd walking frame hoons  Anyway great to see they will try to charge with reckless driving, all over 30 speeding fines should carry a reckless driving penalty. (no commsirac, not every speeding offence should carry it)
i thought reckless driving at that extreme would bring a jail sentence, atleast he will be off the roads for a while, hopefully forever. Wonder how good his reaction time would be and being a 40kph zone at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, there is a good chance of kids ect being around. Matt
No kids around there, but a lot of road workers and trucks. The police are always around there, been atleast 2 serious crashes there because people were speeding through road works.
What the hell was he thinking hooning at his age, and what the hell was he thinking doing it in a Rodeo?
Problem is minux, EVERYTHING hoon laws are meant to cover already has a charge that can be laid. Hoon laws are pointless. There's speeding, reckless driving, dangerous driving, etc... The hoon laws are just there to grant more power to Police.
old guy smoked them up right infront of me and yelled out "just for old times" LMAO :rofl: i should have got his number plate. On the Gold Coast theres old people speeding all the time on the M1 heading to Brisbane. i sit on about 115 and they are flying past me
Arnt there sum shockers up this way, most ppl sit a good 10-15km over most places on the goldie. Its good when ur cruzin home from work, everyone just cruzin along same pace, then u hit nerang n it all goes to crap
98 in a Rodeo, he must have been suicidal. Some people just snap and want to go at that age, my guess is he will plead insanity.
