    Hey all,

I was reading somewhere (on this forum i think) that the police pack of the vx and vt commodores had the standard horn that was able to make sounds and 2 different frequencies, the left or the right one was louder then the other?
Is this possible to do and how would i go about doing it? Would i need to take the car to holden ?

    Thanks :D

I think you are talking about the higher model cars had two horns, a high note and low note. the horn under right side is standard and left side was additional. if this is what you are talking about the wiring is there just need to buy the extra horn

    that is correct.
we have a Police Pack and AFAIK it has the same horns as higher series.
in saying that though, i have not yet had a high series next to mine to compare.

Just get the right horn and plug it in to the other side(pass side).Wiring is there.

and what do you expect that to do?
the optional horn on the passenger side has a different mhz (or db or whatever the rating is) hence the different sound.
changing the same horn from one side to the other wont make it sound any different.

I think he meant to plug the second horn in on the passenger side, assuming he only has one at the moment.
