Can anyone definitively answer the question and maybe provide a part number or URL to EBay, for the types of lug nuts that SHOULD be used when affixing plastic centre caps to stock pursuit/interceptor rims?

I have access to a set of VY SS lug nuts I.e. http://forums.justcommodores.com.au...wheel-nuts-plastic-caps-full-set-img_0002.jpg
I assume would do a nice job???

Already trawled the forums looking for a definitive answer, just don't want to snap the small plastic tabs that hold these babies in place.

Cheers.

They're black & 22mm (standard are either 19mm or 21mm looks like the long silver 19mm ones would also work but will have to check in the daylight)

VE are also 22mm but they are a totally different thread and won't fit earlier models.

Ok cool, so I'm looking for the longer of the two in that picture? Definitely not the one circled in green?

Hehe thanks again.

The one in the green circle is the proper 22mm, but tbh i haven't seen many of these around for a while.

Ok thank-you!

If anyone has a set, let me know :)

I'll keep an eye out on EBay.

Thread = 12mm x 1.5 pitch (m12x1.5)
I found a chrome 21mm hex nut that would do the job nicely, the angle on it matches the the 22mm one i have here (seems to be a 60 degree tapper)

example Chrome Wheel Nuts 12 X 1 5 Holden Toyota Mitsubishi | eBay but it's up to you to shop around and find the best deal, pretty much any tire shop/auto accessory joint will have something suitable
