G'day guys, looking at upgrading the rear suspension on my live axle VR soon and found these Polyair air bag spring helpers.
I'm running superlows in the rear and the ride can be pretty uncomfortable and easily bottoms out over large bumps.

Heres the link to the bags: POLYAIR AIR BAG SUSPENSION KIT SUITS (COMMODORE VB-VS) | eBay

Has anyone fitted these to a Vr? if so, any improvement?

They seem like a pretty good idea and for $250 you can't go wrong. Cheers

I had these on my VS Statesman they where good for extra load when towing but more air you put in the harder they get and I'm not sure if they are made for lowered cars.
Your best bet might be to look at getting different shocks and/or shorter bump stops.

I've got Monroe GT Sports in aswell as shortened bump stops lol. That kit there is for standard suspension but they also do kits for lowered suspension aswell.

Im also looking at getting the same set for my ute. I often carry upto 750kg from job to job. My ute has super lows and the ride feels like your spine is about to snap in half and out of your chest.

Aha yeah they're abit like that. I don't carry any heavy loads nor do i have a tow bar for a trailer. I just want a little more comfort and keep the same look

yes they do do a kit for a lowered commodore, and they do work pretty good, you pump them up before you put your load in and the rear will only come down about 5-10mm depending on your load, some times they might even lift the rear a little. and when you arnt carrying weight you let the pressure down and it rides the same as it does now.
easy to fit into a live axel commodore, just remove the rear coils and put the bags inside them, run the air lines out the top and put them where you want, i normaly put them on the rear bumper bar, one either side of the tow bar.
i have found the airbag man coil right kits (blue bag) to be a bit better than the polyair kits (red bags), see if you can find them on ebay.
