LOL. I remember a doco on the John Deer factory, and the guy going in with a hand gun saying 'no robot can do the job 100%', maybe Holden should look at that.

troy, did a 60k on a silver omega sedan today, looked in that spot and it was pretty well painted but was flat, there was no clear on it. it was a mid 07 plated one

The green one is a 60th Aniversary and the others build date is 14/08/2008

Paint = Weight = s.h.i.t Power to Weight ratio.

Holden are merely trying to improve the performance of these cars. lol

By 'poor' painting, do you mean no coverage, poor coverage, bare metal?

hmm ok, there must have been a change in the painting process during my09 change,

theres heap of other cars on the road that are the same, so i wouldnt worry to much about it, just annoying i guess

just had a look at my ute a jan 2008 build (my8.5), it looks to be painted but being silver car doesnt stand out like brighter colours, but it also doesnt look to have a clear coat on the paint inside the jambs.
