Hi all,
Recently bought a VY Series II Calais and the radio reception from the stock deck is poor when comparing it to the SVZ Wagon. Basically driving down the highway the reception is in and out of tune all the time (goes to complete static when out of tune), although some stations are worse than others.
I'm familiar with Calais in that it has the diversity antenna in the rear window and that there is a signal amplifier, but don't know its physical location.
Any suggestions to improving the reception or the where abouts of the signal amplifier so it can be tested? The car also has a dealers warranty so any firm meat on a resolution would be helpful.
