pop up ads covering over posts

had it happen a few times since the site upgrade

non holden related ads =spam
try to move or close the ad..... it opens the spam
no x or minus on the ad to get rid of them
go back to page and the add covers the posts typing

wont clear

It isn't spam if they are permitted which they are.

I thought these were all nailed down but clearly not.

Just to confirm this only occurs when logged in?

I have purposely left them on for myself and haven't had any issues closing them in the rate instance they do appear.

Can you tell me the location of them ie roughly where on the page so I can look at it further.

i visit the VT forum daily
most occur on its first page and over newest posts

happened again to dayin the vt forum

the one pop up i am mentioning
"the registry of blooming dales " a its a square pinkish one

goes to its gift shop then to this menu

Use an ad blocker. I have used one on firefox for years and never see pop up ads.

Just to confirm moderators and donating members should see zero ads or very very minimal is my understanding, if this isn't the case I'd like to know.

The whole concept here is the longer you've been here the less you get, I must say though I haven't checked the old forum to see it how it compares but I have just finished some more fine tuning until I can verify the old setup.
