    G'day,
I'm looking at getting some bits and pieces (plenum, intake and heads) for a buick v6.

    I found this website.
DIY - Basic Cylinder Head Porting -Standard Abrasives Motor Sports

Is this a relatively easy task, I'm not ham fisted or anything and I'm pretty handy with a spanner, is this really as easy as this website makes it seem?

I'm looking at porting, polishing and port matching plenum, heads etc.....

If it is an extremely hard task how much will this cost for a basic port and polish with port matching???

it's easy to do it backyard style, my mate is an engineer and he reckons the proper way to do it is not a backyard job, not if you want to get the most out of it and still maintain some air turbulence to keep it perfect.

I say DIY, in the end it will be better then stock and you dont have to pay other people to do the work!

Instead of buying this over priced kit, are there any bits for the dremel that anyone can reccommend that I use, or maybe there is a diy or how to for a layman?

I would love to be able to do this myself.
