It's true matey......

Hold down the up and down buttons whilst turning on the ignition. You'll then have the speed alert displaying a real time digital speedo.

Have fun

Press and hold the up and down buttons while you start the engine and it should work.

Just a bit harder to see

Would be good to get an extra one and mount it somewhere more visable.

If done right it would be awesome.

Do you know if you can fit a speed alert to a VR if not fitted at factory ? Im sick of getting speeding fines for my wife in the SS. Any info would be good .

And if possible any idea of price from wrecker's and what loom is needed etc ??

Regards & Thanks

Andrew- I don't see why not bud, I'm taking a wild guess in saying that there's probably a factory plug in your dash and you'll just need the module, wiring and connector.

I could be VERY wrong thou, I'm basing it on the fact that Holden are usually skimpy and have a one loom fit's all setup.

Have a look behind the blockout and let us know what you find

id say your on the money OSL-600
also munted a way to piss that light off could be to cut the wire to the LED....or put a switch in the middle of it so you can have it on or off when you want.....though a switch just for that mounted somewhere is a bit over the top

Nah I think that's a good idea Goobles an override switch would be cheap and easy to wire up. It was a good thought imo.

If you have an exec just use a satelitte switch from an Acclaim i.e) a electric antenna up/down button or similar. That way it still looks factory. I want switches for a few things in my VN Exec so I'll be using Calais satelitte switches to keep things looking neat.
