Possible To Get Speedo On Speed Alert In Vs

Gday,

Realise this is an old post, but does anyone know which coloured wire controls the flashing light on the speed sensor?? I use the alert sensor for a digital speedo seeing that my woodgrain steering wheel covers most of the analog one.. just that damn flashing light is annoying!

Ive got a vs ute with a free push button spot next to the a/c one and will attempt to connect it up to that if i know which wire to cut..

bit of black tape been doin the trick for me for months... jus a simple job if i knew which wire... might try a bit of MacGuiver magic!!!

No light

to get the speed alert as a speedo without the flashing light
hold down all three buttons then turn on the engine, keep held down until display goes to 100 then tap the set button once,
itll stay permenantly a speedo and not flash.

but yeah the way i have my hands on the wheel blocks the readout completely... ah well, passengers can at least see im doing the limit.

i normally go by the digital, i went past one of those ' your speed ' signs, the digital was spot on.
