Hi, Last afternoon when i went to start my car (cold) it fired up for a second then wouldn’t start again, tried to start many times with breaks in between and same thing seemed to fire up for less than half a second. My car is on duel fuel so i tried both petrol and gas. After leaving it alone for about half an hour it started and all was well until later that night when i was driving up a hill and the car just stalled without any warning, i pulled over and after about 5 mins i got it started on petrol but it wouldn’t start on gas, so i figured maybe it had just run out of gas so i filled it up drove out of the servo flicked it over to gas while driving and same thing stalled again, this time just like in the afternoon i couldn’t get it started on ether fuels, so i thought what the hell and poured some cold water on the cas and it fired up on petrol instantly, it hasn’t started great lately. I managed to make it home and thought i would try flicking it over to gas again and once again it stalled so thought i would repeat and pour some water on the cas and see if it started on petrol but this time it didn’t. So I’m not really sure what to think. Any ideas?
Just an update, i swapped over a computer i had laying around and checked for errors, got code 12 and still wouldn’t start. Tonight i got a mate to come around and we put his coil pack and dfi module on and it still wouldn’t start. is there something I’m missing? Should i just assume it’s the cas? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
so i checked injector pulse and it wasn’t there, was able to start the car by spraying a constant mist of carby cleaner in the throttle body, so there is spark and compression. Today i changed the cas and still no luck won’t start so anybody got any ideas?
