It looks like I've found a brand new set of VF Redline Series 2 staggered rims with the original Bridgestones for the right price, so this may be the way I go... I do still love the HF20s, but these are the right price, staggered, have new tyres and are 19".

Now to try and sell my SSV Series 1 rims..

Why, you quoted my post when I said SSV Series 1 wheels don't fit Brembos (note I did NOT say REDLINE), my car is an SSV (non Redline), I am now getting SSV REDLINE rims... make sense?

EXCUSE ME for trying to HELP by suggesting a 19" rim that would fit over Brembos.

Are you 100% they don't go over Brembos? The Series II SSV's do.

100%. They hit the spokes and the inside rim.

Ive always liked the look of the HF-20's style alloys ever since i first saw them.
Really really keen on getting a set in Dark Silver for my white coloured Caprice V but i don't know whats stopping me.....well i sorta do LOL.
Not sure if ill have issues with the TPM system after the swap over plus I'm really weird when it comes to wanting to keep my cars as original as possible haha.

Damn. They'd look great filled up with a big DBA rotor and Brembos.

Have you bought the 2015+ Redline wheels yet?
They're cast, unlike the VE2 & pre-MY2015 Redline wheels which are Forg'd, so are heavier than the earlier wheels.
If you're chasing performance, which the Brembos kinda infer, this could be a Thing.

Yeah I pick them up tomorrow. Not really worried about them being cast and heavier. It's a daily driver and I like the extra performance of the Brembos.

    Any more hsvi pics?
Got the same ute as below and thinking about the shadow chrome hsvi to see whether I like the whole grey silver look or go black trim everything.

Also a nice cheap rim option.

I think that, on a car the colour yours is, for my taste I'd be going a bit darker than the photo you posted … I'm guessing the shadow chrome ones are darker? If so I think that'd look pretty good. Black works well too, but that's what everyone else has … black is easier to patch-up if you're having the same problems as we're having with kerbing the wheels (not on actual kerbs - it's been pot-holes or a huge hidden rock in the FIL's lawn or a piece of steel sticking-out near a tight garage swipe-card sensor).

If you're planning on blacking out your chrome, I think that looks good with black wheels but IMHO also with any wheels.

^ There's also a forged MY2015 VF1 wheel that looks near identical to the VF2 one (might look the same in that view).

Correct and the part no's for the forged wheels you mention are 92267588 (front) and 92267589 (rear).

Yes it is; I was directly referring to the poast above mine, the standard SSVR rims.
