heres our vp series 2 wagon ...she's an ex police vechile from hobart police.. we are third owners...it had only 173 k on the clock when we bought it 18 month ago...tassies a good place to by older models as they still have moderate k's as people here don't drive too far to access anything eg. i work 4 km from home not even far enuff to warm the engine in winter and not far enuff to charge the batt. when youre running everything on cold dark mornings. however this wagon has cost us a fair bit of $ in a short time..$550 today 4 a ruptured transmission fluid tank within the radiator which contaminated the cooling system with oil and the tranny with water... but she's still an absolute dream to drive
heres a couple more of mine only difference is the facia around the cd player is now all white and clear coated and the glovebox lid is white and i put original grey grab handles back on the doors cos those painted black ones look SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT
Just picked up the VP Calais steering wheel from the wreckers for $20.00. It had a broken horn lug. Drilled a hole and put a pin in it. Cut a lug of a executive horn pad and glued it together. Painted it satin black. I think it looks tops.
