yeah i know the 15 was my first system, i was'nt acctually gonna combine all of them (all tho, i did give it some thought), anyway i'v heard type x's now and even one of them sounds better than the type r... so they shoud for 750 each, dont get me wrong they type r range is awsome but ya know, 6000 is bigger than 2000

bloody nice system wolves. there is a place on nepean highway - stylyn audio - specialist alpine dealer. they used to be one of the dealers to sell alpine f1 status stuff (don't think they do now). that's where that mad ute is. dunno if it's still there.
they did mine - they can do a very nice job of everything. highly recommended.

anyway, my system isn't as good as yours, but i still like it.

    all 2005 models
    cda-9851
typr r 350w 6.5" split in front in door pods
type r 250w 2 way in parcel shelf
powered by v power MRP - F240 amp
    12" type r sub
    powered by v12 MRD-M605 amp

would like a type x sub in my next system - love alpine

at the moment im having fun with x2 15" venoms sitting face down in the boot but being in a 89vn installing them was fun,
they sit on the rear axle hump up against the rear seat so they 'pop' out when the rear seat flap is down, I have x2 red neons wired directly off the subs so when they go boom boom the light goes flash flash,
the heart of the system is a v12 780wrms combined power, or 240wrmsx2 and 300wrms x1 =780wrms@4ohms shes old but still wks great. sony head unit at moment
4" in dash and 4" in the head rest of the front seats with the seat covers over the top u cant see them and the whole reason i put them there was because when u go 2 a concert u dont stand with your back to the stage.....:) do u ?

more super glue please my mirrors wont stay stil

as you can all c this is stil in progress as just another project on the move they are x2 15" jaycar venom sitting face down on a 4" deep 17.5x17.5 inch sealed box from inside and out then as far as the parcel shelf would let me go up so dose the box channelin the bass note back into the cab turnin the cab in2 the rest of the box,
agreed dosent look like much but havent ever had a complant yet:ranting:
( from people that like bass lol ) :whistling
    just a sony head unit
    4" in dash
4" in head rests with seat covers over top, well u cant see those
nothing on the parcel shelf as u dont go to a concert and face ur back to the stage.....do u ???
and the heart of the system is a MRV-F353:thumbsup: v12 alpine which puts out about 240wrmsx2 @ 4 ohms and 300wrmsx1 @ 4 ohms from mem.

Nice unit you have there. I myself was considering purchasing the next DVD model up, but with the same screen you have. Did you have any problems with the install? Also did you happen to get it from ebay, if so does it play all DVD's and tune into Australian radio frequencie's? I know that some American DVD units don't play PAL etc........

    Cheers.

my system subs keep cutting out when pumping at about 3/4 volume
i think it may be the battery or something.
