post your electric shock story

Got a nasty shock for a power point. I was over in the Phillapines at the time, and there was this fan running flat out in my room, i could not get to sleep. The power point wires were exposed, so i was trying to be extra careful while i was switching it off, but soon as I went to flick it off some how the electricity went from the wiring to my hand without me even touching the wiring. Anyway that really hurt, got a nice burn on my hand, and scared the hell outta everyone from screaming lol. Not sure on the voltage of the power points over there, but yeah that was enough.

putting some jboxs up at work, with connectors etc.
they guys testing some other faults with a megger (500v test this time) , nothing to do with what im doing.
somehow we have a short/problem and i get zapped... luckily only about 5mm across on the thumb
