Power Antenna VL Help

hey guys

i am installing a power antenna on my vl because old one is screwed. But how do u get the old one out, there must be a way to access underneath where the motor for the antenna is??? i cant see an easy way without taking the whole fender off.
Quick answers please

Probably too late but youve gotta take the inner guard off (inside the wheel arch). Might also have to take the passenger side wheel off to gain access easier.

haah i tried getting mine off yesterday, im guessing the fender has to come off bro..im taking my fenders off tommorow finally.. the book didnt help me much either...

for the fender theres 2 bolts behind the ecu...
a few on top, 2 atthe front behind the lights and 2 on the side, followed by screws on the wheel arch.
1 bolt under the lowest part of the fender where it meets the chassis area.

i might have missed one but just pull on it lightly to find out...

i rang up a friend and he said to take the inner guard out, so i did that, just didnt relise that it could come out thats all lol
