hey guys, got all the looms wired for my new jvc deck and screen but i am stumped on the power antenna, the deck only has one antenna output and im guessing that is the up power? thinking bout using a relay setup. anyone else had this problem? some light on the subject or an easier fix would be much apreciated.
when i installed a kenwood deck into a VT with power antenna, there was only about 2 wires left over (not sure what colour) but i just connected the antenna remote from headunit to it and it goes up when the radio is on and works like factory. as far as i know there is only a single wire unless you have manual controls then it gets tricky. this seems to be a common problem, i will be sure to get the colour of the wire next time i happen to pull it out.
put the blue ant wire from jvc deck to the yellow/red wire in car loom when turn jvc on ant will go up and when ya turn it off it will go down
